Commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) begins with dedication at the management level.
The focus of our safety program is to provide employees with the tools, resources and training necessary to ensure a safe work environment. Our goal is to protect the employees, the public and the environment.
Ongoing training at all levels is mandatory, beginning with new employee orientation programs and on-site safety induction to familiarize personnel with Chinook's policies and procedures. Regular safety meetings and training drills are held to continually review safety procedures.
Chinook is an industry leader in safety and has received several awards of distinction thoughout its 10 years of operation including but not limited to:
Safety Leadership Award from the CAODC in 3 of the past 4 years.
Chairman of the Board Shield for most improved safety performance from the CAODC in 2 of the past 4 years.
Chinook will continue to focus pro-actively towards our goal of no injury to anyone on our worksites.
